About Cassian

Founder. Builder. Human, allegedly.

I build companies and software through Genoventures and GV Labs. This site is the less polished side of the story.

The short version

Built on curiosity, stubbornness, and a lot of tabs.

My work sits somewhere between venture building, product strategy, software, and the kind of systems thinking that makes normal conversations take unexpected turns. Genoventures is the larger ecosystem; GV Labs is where we turn useful ideas into products and reusable technology.

AI is still part of that work, but it is no longer the whole public identity. I also care about music, design, people, place, discipline, ambition, and what it costs to make a life around the work.

So this is a personal journal. Some entries will be considered. Some will be messy. Both are the point.

01
Make it useful

The clever version matters less than the version that helps someone.

02
Taste is a system

Good judgment is built through attention, repetition, and caring about the last five percent.

03
Keep a record

Memory edits the story. Writing gives the work—and the life around it—somewhere honest to live.
